Terry Morse
Deacon Chair
Terry is a native of the state of Michigan. He retired from General Motors in 2007 after 33 years. A year after retirement he and Sherry moved to her home state. They so enjoyed living in the foothills of East Tennessee nestled between the Blueridge and Smokey Mountains. Beautiful mountains and hills were always within view as they traveled around town to do everyday errands, seek entertainment, take time to relax on the lake or go for a fun hike. Life was special there and they both feel truly blessed to have lived surrounded by God's creation of such majestic beauty.
Previously Terry and Sherry were co-directors of a food pantry and Christian outreach center, church van driver and taught in children and youth ministry. In 2022 they decided to move to the Sunny state of Florida due to a need for better medical care for Sherry who had suffered a spinal cord injury in 2019 and of course the warmer weather was calling them. They soon concluded that The Lord Jesus Christ was also calling them to make this move. They both have been serving God in multiple ways at Eagles Nest Baptist Church since joining as a member in April 2022. Terry loves the Lord, he loves his church family at Eagles Nest and welcomes everyone to reach out to him at any time.
