I use to journal during more difficult times. When I go back and read them I see how angry, disappointed and helpless I was until I got it out nd asked God to help me. Truly a way to help you daily.

I kept journals my entire life since I was a young girl. I have boxes and boxes of my journals. As an adult it became more of a prayer journal and my discussions with God, much about my Christian faith, beliefs and my walk with The Lord. It is helpful sometimes to go back and read because I saw how far I’ve come and I also saw prayers that I had forgot I had prayed and looking at my life now and realized they had been answered. I also found areas that I still needed to work on and found people I need to pray for again. The journals have truly helped me in my prayer time and in my personal relationship with the Lord. These prompts are a good way to get started if you are new to journaling and they are good for those days when we struggle with what we want to say. The prompts can bring things to our mind and from there we take it and with our own words we begin a great dialogue with Jesus. God bless everyone.
